Hēmi Kelly (Ngāti Maniapoto, Ngāti Tahu, Ngāti Whaoa) is a Māori language teacher, interpreter, translator, writer, and consultant. He is the author of A Māori Word a Day, A Māori Phrase a Day, and Everyday Māori: Ia Rā, Ia Rā, and is the creator and host of the Everyday Māori platforms and podcast. Through his consultancy, Tautika Ltd, Hēmi works across education, publishing, media, and the arts, supporting the revitalisation and everyday use of te reo Māori.
